About Me

I’ve spent most of my life working out, exercising, and studying fitness and nutrition. I worked hard to build my body from a skinny kid to the 220-pound pro wrestler, “The Golden Greek” Alex Arion. I wrestled regularly from 1998 until 2013 and had one final match in 2016.

Some nagging health issues I’d always dealt with started to get worse around this time. Without getting into too many specifics, I was lacking energy and relying on 5-hour energy shots to get through my day…not a great place to be. I didn’t feel that the solutions my doctors were offering were helpful. Pushing prescription pills on me was their answer and I knew there had to be another way.

I was still exercising and training regularly but wasn’t making the progress I had in the past and wasn’t looking the way I used to. I was putting unwanted weight on and my clothes were getting tighter in all the wrong places and I wasn’t very happy. I chalked it up to getting older and tried not to think too much of it.

I sought out a naturopath who helped me discover the root cause of all of my health issues. It took some time, but I cleared up those problems and started to feel better, started to get my energy back, and was dropping some of those stubborn pounds.

I began to look at not just the weights and diet part of fitness and nutrition, but really studied other aspects as well and slowly put together the health jigsaw puzzle pieces that were my body. I was looking and feeling great again. I loved the way I was feeling and decided I wanted to help other people feel the way I do and Alex Arion Fitness was born.

This website is where I post different routines, nutrition tips, and anything else I think you can benefit from. I put my best complete workouts and ebooks here too, so check the “Shop” to see what’s available… more coming soon.

It doesn’t matter how old or young you are, guy or gal…it’s never a bad time to get up and get moving. The goal of this website, its content, and my programs is to help you do just that.
